Evolution of Nordic Music

With our deep Nordic roots, this project holds a very special place in our hearts. Back in 2019, Foreningen Norden (The Nordic Association) celebrated its 100th anniversary. A milestone honored across various Nordic Nordic broadcasts, including Denmark's DR.

For this historic occasion, we performed the LiveStrings version of a series of iconic songs and melodies known and loved throughout the Nordic countries. The music was beautifully arranged by our friend and collaborator, composer and pianist Nicolai Kornerup.

From classical and jazz-infused Nordic tones to massive dance hits, Evolution of Nordic Music offers a fantastic glimpse into Nordic culture and history. It is a wonderful, nostalgic journey that we love revisiting.
