Mathias Heise Quadrillion x LiveStrings

During the 2025 Copenhagen Jazz Festival, we had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the amazing band Mathias Heise Quadrillion – close friends of ours whom we have previously toured with and featured alongside on their 2017 album Decadence. Together, we also paid a visit to the legendary venue Jazzhus Montmartre.

The music is a vibrant blend of crisp 80s fusion meeting the rich textures of our string instruments. The energy is absolutely electric!

Harmonica virtuoso Mathias Heise burst onto the Danish jazz scene about a decade ago and has since taken Europe by storm. He performs with a controlled ferocity and a deeply personal expression that defies nature, while also being celebrated for his beautiful harmonies and sensitive technique.

On stage, Mathias Heise is joined by the stellar lineup of Mads Christiansen on guitar, David Vang on bass, and Frederik Emil Bülow on drums.
