Drawing on the musicians' roots in Romania, Hungary, Norway, and Denmark, the album takes its title from Transylvania's Ardeal region.

Inspired by masters like Dvořák and Bartók, it breathes new life into forgotten melodies saved from old tape recordings and oral traditions.

The result is a unique musical treasure trove of brand-new original works and historical folk tunes—rich in energy, depth, and melancholy.
